OWNER / OCCUPANT INFORMATION: Adam Contreras
INJURIES: None
ESTIMATED LOSS: $30,000 to structure; $6,000 to contents
Fire Companies Responded on Initial Alarm; Engines 1 & 2, Truck 1, Quint 3 , MED 1 and Battalion 1.
Special Call: Quint 4 (RIT), Car 2 (Safety Officer) and Utility 6 (Fire Investigator).
CAUSE / ORIGIN: Under investigation / Under investigation
OTHER AGENCIES INVOLVED: Racine Police Department, We Energies and Racine Fire Bells Rehab Unit 66
NARRATIVE: A passing vehicle called 911 for a house on fire. Upon arrival smoke was showing from the north and south eaves of the building. The rear (eastside) exterior from the ground level up to and including the soffit and roof were on fire which was quickly extinguished before an interior attack was made. All occupants were accounted for with no injuries to report. At this time the fire is still under investigation.
