Fire Photography in S.E. Wisconsin
On Saturday morning September 15th, 2012 the Racine Fire Department was dispatched on an " Extrication Assignment" to Highway 31 NB near Byrd Avenue for a PI Accident with a person trapped around 0630hrs.
Upon arrival firefighters found a Chevrolet Blazer on its side with a person neededing assistance in getting out of the vehicle and a semi tractor trailer with both saddle bags leaking.
Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, the semi driver refused treatment.
Firefighters secured the leaking diesel fuel leak and stood by until the semi truck was removed.
