Pilot dies after small plane crashes into Racine County garage

A small plane crashed into a Racine County garage on Sunday, killing the pilot.
According to the Racine County Sheriff's Department, the plane came down around noon, near the intersection of Kennedy Ave. and Marshall Square, in Kansasville's Eagle Lake Manor subdivision, in the Town of Dover.
WTMJ-TV (Channel 4) reported the single-engine plane's pilot was killed, but no one else was injured. The pilot was the only one aboard, Channel 4 said. The sheriff's department had not released such details by early evening.
The plane was on its way from Chicago Executive Airport in suburban Wheeling, Ill., to Minocqua, Channel 4 reported. Federal officials are investigating the crash.
