Fire Photography in S.E. Wisconsin
On Saturday evening September 8th, 2012 Caledonia Fire & Rescue Engine 11, MED 20 and Battalion 11 were dispatched to the 6500 blk Highway 38 near the enterence of a festivel for a vehicle accident with extrication.
Battalion 11 arrived first on scene and advised in coming units that one person was in need of extrication suffering from a leg injury.
As fire crews worked to extrication the victim Battalion 11 requested MED 12 to the scene to check on a second ambulatory patient.
The victim was extricated from the vehicle within 20 minutes and transported to a local hospital for treatment, the second patient refused treatment.
The accident is being investigated by the Caledonia Police Department.
