INJURIES: 1 firefighter / none transport to hospital.
ESTIMATED LOSS: Unkown
Fire Companies Responded on Initial Alarm; Engines 11, Quint 10, Tender 11, Battalion 11, Car 11 (Fire Chief) and South Shore Engine/Tender 10.
Special Call: Oak Creek Brush Truck Utilty 2 and Raymond Rescue 431.
CAUSE / ORIGIN: Under Investigation
OTHER AGENCIES INVOLVED: Caledonia Police Department.
NARRATIVE: Caledonia Fire Department crews responded to a fully involved barn fire with two separate out buildings involved. Fire crews used a defensive strategy due to the heavy amount of fire and the barn having collapsed prior to arrival. As a result of estimated 30 mph winds embers blew across the street causing a field fire.
