On Wednesday night June 8th, 2011 a severe storm rolled through Racine County at approximetly 2130hrs with winds between 60-70 mph, as the storm passed through the county a southbound semi rolled over near mile marker 335 on Interstate 94 blocking all three lanes. Raymond Fire & Rescue responded to the incident and removed the driver from the cab and transported him to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. Firefighters secured the scene and an enviromental clean up crew was contacted to respond the the incident.. The intersate was closed for several hours until everything was cleaned up and the semi righted and removed.

Also assisting at the scene were the Racine Fire Bells Rehab Unit 65, the Racine County Sheriff's Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
