OWNER / OCCUPANT INFORMATION: John Mader - owner, Alex Poplawski, Jr. and Rebecca Holtz - occupants
INJURIES: 1
ESTIMATED LOSS: $10000
CAUSE / ORIGIN: The area of origin was the bed in the southwest bedroom.
Fire Companies Responded; Engines 6 & 9, Truck 1, Rescue 1, Utility 3 - Investigator, Car 43 - Safety Officer, Car 41 - Battalion Chief, Car 51 - Department Chief and Qunint 7 as Rapid Intervention Crew.
OTHER AGENCIES INVOLVED:
Weather Conditions: N/A
NARRATIVE: The occupants, one adult and two juveniles, were alerted to the fire by a passerby, Juan Bonilla. Mr. Bonilla reported the fire and knocked on the door to wake the occupants. He was passing the home when he saw fire in the bedroom window. All occupants escaped uninjured, one firefighter sustained a laceration during the extinguishment of the fire.
